Local Elections
I want to thank the Italians who have given their vote to Italia dei Valori. In the Centre Left we are the only party to be rewarded by the voters and in certain cases our vote has been multiplied by 4. I believe that this has happened because of our commitment to face up to concrete topics like the development of the country and the security of citizens.
Two considerations on the local elections.
The first is that the party of abstentions is still stronger and the distance between the citizens and politics, on the right or on the left, is getting bigger, day by day.
The second is that the division between the North and South of the country, already evident in the national elections, is becoming more radicalized with autonomy pushes that could get out of control.
The government that I am part of has certain serious faults. It has not kept its promises in relation to justice, social reforms, election reforms. It has not had the courage that the voters were expecting. Basically it has not done politics.
After the Calderoli mess up, the Pardon, was the mess up of the Unione with the support of the Centre Right.
The Centre Left voters remembered that and stayed away from the polling stations. How many votes have we lost in using this law to protect administrators connected to the parties? Because that was the true objective of the pardon.
Recently there's been talk of the cost of politics all over. Italia dei Valori and specifically Franca Rame have been battling with this for years but in the past no other party has given us real support.
If we don't face up to this and other problems and if we don't change gear and direction for the country they will send us all home.

Nelle appena svoltesi elezioni amministrative c'e' stato un risultato molto importante: IL CALO DEI VOTANTI
Molti, secondo me, erano dell'aea di sinistra alla quale anche io faccio riferimento..o meglio facevo perche' non mi riconosco piu' in NESSUNO di questi politici.
Ebbene, molti non hanno votato ma questa volta
BADATE BENE A CONSIDERARLO QUALUNQUISMO PERCHE' IL NON VOTO PUO ESSERE ANCHE ESSO UN VOTO CON PIENA COSCIENZA E CONSAPEVOLEZZA PERCHE' SIAMO STANCHI DI VOTARE NON IL MIGLIORE MA SOLO IL MENO PEGGIO.
QUESTI POLITICI ARROGANTI, AUTOCELEBRATIVI, AUTOCANDIDATI, POLTRONARI, INACCESSIBILI MA SOPRATUTTO PERICOLOSI PER L'ITALIA
PURTROPPO L'ALTERNATIVA POLITICA E' ANCORA BERLUSCONI E NON VOTARE MI FA VENIRE I BRIVIDI MA NON TORNO PIU' INDIETRO A MENO CHE....AMENO CHE SI CAMBI VERAMENTE MA, A QUESTO MIO DESIDERIO, NON CREDO MOLTO , ANZI NON CREDO AFFATTO
Lei, DI Pietro, mi piace quando la sento ma poi e' veramente difficile capire cosa succede dietro le quinte perche', come buona tradizione italiana vuole, la trasparenza non e' mai totale.

Le pensioni ( scalone si, scalone no, forse)
Posizioni sulla chiesa ( Fassino parla a sproposito sul documentario della BBC sulla pedofilia solamente preoccupato di non offendere il vaticano mentre la chiesa in Messico scomunica politici pro abortisti proprio come nel medio evo - ma qui Fassino non spende neanche una virgola)
La decisione di imporre dall'alto i candidati
La grandissima distanza dalla base che non si ascolta piu', anzi da' fastidio -
c'e' una mancanza di comunicazione impressionante. tutti i politici sono irraggiungibili sui loro altari e qui, anche non volendo, devo parafrasare Grillo quando dice che i politici dovrebbero ricordare SEMPRE di essere al nostro servizio e non vice versa.
Amato a Palermo si incazza stizzito ed e' veramente maleducato con un ragazzo che gli faceva notare quanti pregiudicati "abitano" in parlamento accusandolo di populismo
Non so'. Io sono scoraggiato e vedere Berlusconi e i suoi scagnozzi riprendere in mano l'Italia mi spaventa...ma non e' che con il centro sinistra lo sono molto meno

I concour with your analysis, but dont'you think that the fact that the Region of Italy that generates 30% of the National Gross Income being excluded from the Executive does not have any adverse impact? This is the first time in the history of the Republic that those regions do not have any representative in the Gouvernment and this fact is paid cash! Your room of maneuver in the governement is now very limited, either you will be be able to start reforming the Country or for your coalition will be a disaster.
