Berlusconi and the State based on the Rule of Law

Thinking about the comments expressed yesterday at Montecatini by Silvio Berlusconi concerning the judges and the magistracy, it seems to me that Berlusconi is lacking a sense of the State based on the Rule of Law, rather than lacking a sense of the division of powers. It’s in keeping with his character: there are those who stand with people like Falcone and Borsellino and those who stand with Mangano…
But more than Berlusconi, the problem is those Italians who want to close their eyes and pretend that there is gang warfare between the politicians and the magistracy: a smoke screen to criminalize certain prosecutors who were investigating the powerful.

le scrico dall' estero da dove lavoro, vivo e seguo quanto accade in Italia. Mi rivolgo a lei come ho fatto in passato in quanto nessuno a mio avviso ha il coraggio di dire che succede in Italia, ossia che a mio avviso e' la Mafia che sta cercando di dare una spallata al Governo, che mai come in questi ultimi tempi ha messo a segno arresti cosi' importanti e sta cercando di rendere piu' facile l' espropio dei beni mafiosi. Ultimo episodio inquietante l' assalto alle caserme di polizia, non e' un fatto casuale ma un altro tassello con cui si cerca di fare caos ed un ultimo strano evento la richiesta di aiuto alla Mamma ! A buon intenditor buone parole, ma tacere su tale pericolo e' ancora piu' da irresponsabili. Spero di nuovo nella sua ferma e pronta denuncia.
