The only ones for the Rule of Law
I’m publishing the intervention made by Massimo Donadi, the Leader of Italia dei Valori in the Lower House. The transcription of the speech has been taken from the records typed up in the Lower House. The speech was applauded only by people of Italia dei Valori.
In this whole affair what is disconcerting is recognizing that Italia dei Valori (and a few other deputies) are isolated in the defence of the Magistracy and of the Rule of Law.
"Signor President, signor President of the Council, we appreciated it when, in your speech, you called for the autonomy and the independence of the magistracy. However, signor President of the Council, we believe that governing means, always and above all, to take on to the full, the responsibility to give solid responses to the needs of the Country. Well, we believe that today the Country needs to know from the President of the Council whether or not it is true that in this country there are fringes of the magistracy who try to knock down their political adversaries (Applause from the deputies of the Italia dei Valori group). The Country needs to know whether…”

Manchester 21/01/2008
Dear madam.
Sorry to bother you, but I saw you 21/01/2008 on t v talking about the “crisis”in Palestine and I agree with what you said in full, except for the word crisis.
In my eyes it is more of an ETHENIC CLEANSING carried out by the Zionist government with the accomplice of the U N / U.S.A. Talking and criticizing this murderous government and not taking appropriate action with punishment will never stop these war criminals, and will make all of us accomplices of cold blooded murder.
Of course the Palestinians are the bad guys, the “terrorist” fighting for their land. Israel is the innocent victim. ALWAYS!!! Israel has no intention or interest in peace, and there will not be peace until Israel gives back the land stolen left, right and center.
Label a country terrorist and you can destroy it with impunity.(WITH U.S.A. HELP BILLIONS OF DOLLARS EVERY YEAR +ARMAMEMT). I would like you to explain to me why any nation which does not obey UN resolutions , receive sanctions and in some case end up in war. I think there in no need to make a list! But the same rule does not apply when it comes to Israel.
SINCE 1955 TO 1992. UN RESOLUTIONS AGAINST Israel 65 , of which 30 have been vetoed by the U.S.A. What have the UN done with the 35 not opposed by the U.S.A.?? Have any of those been implemented? Why can Israel refuse point blank inspection to his nuclear activity and no one dare talk of sanctions??
Today Mr Amr Moussa on Aljazeera t v described Israel's action in the Gaza Strip as a “war crime” and again “The real problem is the Israeli military occupation. Israel as an occupying nation has a responsibility to protect the rights of the people of the occupied land”.... Come again? What ? Mr Moussa expects that the Israelis will take care of the Palestinians? Well , sorry for my comparison, but it is like asking the Nazi SS , taking care of the Jews!!
It is about time that the UN is not just a rubber stamp for the U.S.A. and show some power, some serious definitive intervention.
Dear Madam, I do not stand for terrorism and this comes from a Christian who has moral values on the killing of innocent people.
Feel free to pass my comments to other collegues
Your faithfully
Giuseppe Arena.
PS.
When we will see Bush / Blair / Howard charged with war crimes?? Or are they above the
law??

- sullo stesso tema, a Varsavia. Cordialmente,
Prof. Leonardo A. Losito
